What I Wore : Boxing Day Races, Auckland

I was lucky enough to be invited by Auckland Racing Club and Ellerslie Events Centre to judge the Champagne Nicholas Feuillatte Fashions In The Field on Boxing Day! The weather was spectacular, the champagne was flowing and the fashion was classic and elegant. I loved every minute!

My facinator was by Natalie Chan. Natalie is a local Kiwi designer and has impeccable taste in fashion and makes incredible fascinators. She fitted me with a divine headpiece of a net over my forehead and a bow headband, shaped into big bunny ears. I loved it! Chic and elegant. Meow.

I was dressed by Kookai, wearing a black crop and white skirt. I loved his combo because it was not only chic and elegant, but comfortable – I love low maintenance outfits without the need to be readjusting or fixing anything. My shoes were by Tony Bianco and could be worn all day.

Hair and Make Up
I wanted to keep the hair simple and clean, and went with a low pony tail. I wrapped a small piece of hair around the tie and pinned it in. The make up was my favourite part – I did a brown smokey eye and a dark lip. For the lips I used ‘Rebel’ by Mac Cosmetics, with a matching pencil.

Again, keeping it simple with jewellery, I went with some of my old faithful’s. Earrings and Ring from Coco And Creme Living, bangle by Hermes, bracelet by Tiffany & Co, watch by Rolex and sunglasses by Dita (a new Christmas present to myself!).

My date was looking good, he’s the one in the middle…

… And a shot or two with the ladies!
