While I have been lucky enough to be able to travel with my two little people, it did not come without its stresses for all things babies! There are so many things to plan: bottles, cleaning, bedding, clothing, nappies, blankets, wipes and all things consumable (and the rest!). Needless to say, the need for convenient, healthy and organic baby food was at the top of the priority list that didn’t require any cooking or heating whilst we were on the go. As I stood in the baby food isle at Coles, I looked through all the ingredients and additives in some of the options available and was shocked at what our babies were consuming. Are we really feeding some of these products to our babies?
As I investigated further, I was drawn to Bubs products over everything else. All their ingredients are 100% organic, which is so important at this stage of a babies life. These ingredients are bursting with nutrient rich superfoods, such as raspberries, quinoa, spinach, fig and chia, to nourish my little ones from the inside out. And considering we now have egg allergies with Carter to deal with, I was even hap[pier again to find they are allergy friendly with no added salt, sugar or preservatives. I loved that I could take them anywhere, hot or cold, and didn’t require any cleaning other than the spoon I used to feed them with.
The 10 flavours in the organic Pouches range are:
Pear and White Grape
Mango, Peach and Banana
Sweet Potato, Carrot and Pumpkin
Sweetcorn, Pumpkin and Chia
Berry and Banana Bircher Muesli
Super Vegetable and Rice Congee
Blueberry, Banana and Quinoa
Strawberry, Pear and Quinoa
Raw Cacao Chocolate Custard
Banana and Apricot Power Porridge
After loving the products so much, I went to the Bubs Australia website and found there are also many other great products they offer. I was very impressed! I realised they weren’t too far from me, available at my local Chemist Warehouse, so I headed over to stock up on supplies.
These have been an absolute DREAM with my too. Coupled with the Boon Gnaw, these rusks are specifically designed for teething babies. I have been putting them in the fridge to let them cool for sore and tender gums. They are hand-baked made from a trio of organic multigrain and pure organic apple. This helps develop healthy teeth and jaw development as it encourages biting and chewing. They come in the single flavour – Bubs Organic Apple and Barley Lactose Free Toothy Rusk.
These cereals are a MUST when starting out. I just add milk or water to the mix and voila! So easy when we are on the go to put in a container with the left over formula or hot water from the thermos. They’re made in Australia (which I LOVE supporting our home-grown suppliers!) from Australian Certified Organic rice, oats and ancient grains. They are blended with pure and real fruit to add flavour and nurture my two little ones. There are no added sugars, artificial flavours or preservatives either. There are five flavours too:
- Bubs Organic Baby Ancient Grain Porridge
- Bubs Organic Baby Apple Porridge
- Bubs Organic Baby Banana Rice Cereal
- Bubs Organic Baby Oats Cereal
- Bubs Organic Baby Rice Cereal
As always, remember to have a happy baby, you must provide them with a well balanced and healthy diet. Be are to check with your local doctor or health advisor for any allergies or concerns before feeding.
